HAC (Hamburg) Celebrate no. 865 Westminster & Trinity chimes mantel clock (parts)

I believe this is a circa 1925 to 1935 clock.

The case looks like mahogany and is in good condition with original finish and patina. There are a few scrapes and scratches in the finish. The trim pieces on both sides are missing, as is evident in the lighter colored strips along each side of the clock. (See pictures) Case is 12.5”H x 9.5” W x 7.5” D.

Clock face and hands are excellent.

The front bezel and glass are in good shape. The glass door has to be slightly lifted while closing to snap shut. If you move the clock around afterwards, it tends to pop back open.

I purchased this several years ago as a restoration clock and never got to it. It’s been sitting around on the shelf for a while. It chimes and strikes, but of course no guarantee that it will continue to do so. The pendulum rod and bob are not original to this movement. The clock time runs and stops – haven’t had time to figure out the problem. I will leave that up to the winner of the auction.

No key.

Due to the replacement pendulum parts and intermittent time train, I’m selling this clock as parts.
