Here is a five-volume set from the "Second World War" by Winston Churchill, published by Houghton Mifflin between 1948 and 1953. Book of the Month Club selection. Hardcovers with dust jackets. Volumes include "The Gathering Storm," "The Hinge of Fate," "The Grand Alliance," "Triumph and Tragedy," and "Closing the Ring." Each measures 8.5 inches by 6 inches.

Pre-owned books in standard, typical vintage condition. Front and back covers may have normal flaws, including: stray marks/spots, edge and spine wear, edge fading, corner bumps, light dirt/soiling, as would be expected with a book this age, due to use/storage. (One volume has water damage on two corners - see photo #8.) Bindings are intact. 

Interior pages and endpapers may have normal flaws, including yellowing, minor folds/creases, minor corner bumps, minimal marks, light dirt/soiling, as would be expected with a book this age, due to use/storage. Vintage books may have a storage smell. (See photos #6-9 for flaws.)
