This is a Heathkit Sine - Square Wave Audio Generator. Frequency range is 1 Hz to 100kHz. Output Voltage Ranges are: 0 - .003, 0 - .01, 0 - .03, 0 - .1, 0 - .3, 0 - 1, 0 - 3, and 0 - 10 Volts RMS. Switchable internal 600 Ohm load. dB ranges: -62 to +22 dB. Meter accuracy is +/- 10% of full scale with proper load termination.

This IG-5218 has been modified with my IG-18 THD kit (also available here on eBay).

Includes a new 're-issue' copy of the IG-5218 manual and a copy of my step-by-step instructions for making the THD mods and a schematic of the Meter Buffer Board. There are a few scuffs and scratches on the top cover. The rest looks very clean.

This unit is in good condition, fully functional and has only the modifications listed below:

   * Pot (Rz) opened on CCW side of ribbon

   * Resistor R3 changed to 56k

   * Capacitor C5 changed to 100 uF

   * C1 & C2 Changed to 1000 uF

   * C3 changed to 470 uF

   * Feedback re-adjusted to almost 10V output

   * Meter Buffer added
