Up for sale is this classic 1960s vintage Gallet Multichron 30 mechanical chronograph watch. From its detailed white dial to the round water resistant pushers it’s a beautifully crafted Swiss made tool watch.

In original used condition, this straight wind mechanical chronograph has two registers: continuous seconds and a 30 minute recorder. The dial layout is absolutely beautiful in its simplicity. I love the large black Arabic numerals and colorful telemeter and tachymeter scales. Wear and tear is significant especially on the upper chromed surfaces. Excellent stainless steel snap on caseback.

This watch has a 34 mm diameter case and is very comfortable on the wrist. I’ve installed a new acrylic crystal. The Swiss made 17 jewel Venus caliber 188 movement is running strong and keeps time. It’s running a bit fast gaining 2-3 minutes over 12 hours. The chronograph functions are all working well and resetting to “0”. I don’t know its service history. I recommend a professional service to maintain its functionality for years to come.
