1966 Gibson Melody Maker with a Cherry Burgundy Red finish and Vibrola tremolo. This vintage guitar is 100% all original with zero modifications. It is in excellent overall condition with no issues. There are typical handling marks and scuffs throughout but nothing major. The finish is still shiny with no finish checking. There is only very light fretwear, and all frets have been polished to a bright shine. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is in great condition with minimal fingerwear. The original potentiometers date to 1963. The guitar weighs 5.72 pounds. The neck thickness measures 0.809" at the 1st fret and 0.992 at the 12th fret. It has a 1.5" nut width. Includes a non-original hardshell case in good working condition. Also includes the original Vibrola arm.
