The olivewood box has the shape of a rectangular  (170 mm x 117 mm), and is carved with foliage  pattern of Tudor Roses and decorated with birch inlaid. The olivewood structure of the box is very distinctive and of a good appeal.

The lid is fitted with two tiny brass hinges. In the inside of the box there is unfinished olivewood. The lid closes quite tight, thanks to the inner flange made of the four internally fitted sides of the compartment.

The top of the box is carved with relief foliage of the Tudor Roses and six plain square panels decorated with inlaid birch petals.
