I have for your consideration a Lionel 289E Vintage O Prewar 2-4-2 Steam Engine & Tender. This was purchased from the estate of a collector and restored/repainted by the collector some time ago. The locomotive goes forward and reverse and light works. It is missing the marker light on one side. There are a couple spots that have pitting from before it was restored and painted. It is in overall very clean condition with very minor scuffs/minor tarnish. The tender is also in very good restored/repainted condition. A couple of very minor scuffs/tarnish. THE TENDER MAKES A BUZZ INSTEAD OF WHISTLE WHEN THE WHISTLE BUTTON WAS PRESSED DURING TESTING. THAT WILL NEED ATTENTION.
