❁ The industrialist Romano Artioli revived the Bugatti brand and installed it in an ultra-modern plant near Modena. In September 1991 Bugatti Automobili presented the EB110, with a 3500cc supercharged 12-cylinder engine and 560 horsepower. The final developments of the car, which had had a troubled conception, were led by engineer Nicola Materazzi, while the architect Giampaolo Benedini had completed the final design. From March 1992 a more powerful Supersport variant appeared (600 hp) but the story of the new Bugatti did not last long. In September 1995 the company had to close permanently. From 1991 to 1995, 95 examples of the EB110 were produced and 30 examples of the EB110S from 1992 to 1995.
