I have known this beautiful Bedford for the last 20 years of her dry stored life. and guess have to accept that I am not going to compete her any time soon. so reluctantly am putting her up for sale.

I first Met 'Debbi' the Debonaire some 15 years ago in a dry stored fabrication workshop in rural Lincolnshire. I commissioned the fabricator/welder to do some bespoke stainless steel work on my adventure motorbikes.- In the corner of his workshop stood 'Debbie' covered in dust and not worked on for some time.

Being a self confessed petrol head Debbie was of interest. The fabricator had been commissioned by Debbies former keeper- A Goth. It was his intention to restore her and use her for Goth weekends away.
He had spent good money, buying a fully reconditioned Vauxhall Cavalier engine fitted, the work is of the highest quality, no expense spared, stainless steel Bespoke exhaust its where all fabricated in the shop in Lincolnshire. He also commissioned the weird Goth steering wheel (I am not a fan of and would revert to the original column. He also had the spray job done to a high standard. I do like the purple.
Sadly the Goth owners heath deteriorated and the fabricator was left with unpaid bills and a nearly finished camper..
More on 10 years - and I saw her again. the owner had died and Debbie was sold through probate, I bought her 5 years ago with all the best intentions of finishing this beautiful classic campers sympathetic restoration.
The last 4 pictures show you how far I have got! no where, she is covered in dust and has not been touched in my ownership.
The engine is sweet, will fire straight up. Suspect I will need a new battery and new fuel.
she needs very little mechanical work to complete, I would upgrade the brakes, Neaten the engine tunnel. and retro fit the correct steering column.

The interior probably looks better on the pics than in real life. I intended to rip out and sympathetically rebuild a more modern interior. But clearly am not getting round to it in a hurry

If you are interested please DM me and I suggest you should come and view. She is Barn stored near Selby.
