This is a beautifully decorated antique Japanese porcelain hors d'oeuvre set of 7 bowls on an exquisite yosegi marquetry tray dating to the early 20th century, around 1910/1920.
Measuring 30.5cm for the tray and 12cm to 13.5cm wide for the bowls all pieces are in very good condition except for one outer bowl which has been broken into pieces and repaired; there is slight wear and a couple of flake chips to one bowl's rim, and slight wear to the wooden tray.
