It is a heavier, dark tone metal buckle, made by The Great American Buckle Company back in 1977. It is in decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have wear and tear from age and use. I can't tell if the dark color is original or if it has been altered at some point. It measures approximately 3-1/2" x 2-1/8", it fits a 1-1/2 wide belt and it weighs about 5.2 oz.
