On the cover is Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams and there is a great article inside on the 'splendid splinter." There are photos and stories on the top sluggers of the era including Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Roy Sievers, Eddie Mathews, Ernie Banks, Frank Robinson, Al Kaline, Bill Skowron and Minnie Minoso. There are other great articles in the magazine including a nice article with bios and photos of the top minor league players in each league. Great book for baseball history. The book is in good condition with a small cut of about an inch on the left side of the back cover. A great read which will bring back fond memories.
