Rare cast iron Russian statuette.  Stands 5" tall, the plinth is 1 ¾" wide, weighs a little over 14 oz. We have encountered it being called "Gizelle" but its original model, cast in 1951, was entitled "Ballerina with Flowers". The original cast is listed on p.64 of Cast Iron Casting (1920 - 2009) by A. Zak, with the rarity rating of 2 (out of 3, 1 being the most rare). Raised maker's mark is on the bottom.

In excellent outstanding condition.  There is no damage of any kind. The two screws fastening the statuette to the plinth are perfectly tight.
