A pictorial Postcard depicting the first Post Office van purchased for Newry in 1925. It features the main drivers at Newry Post Office. The Wicker Basket Cart was pulled manually back and forward to Edward Street Railway Station to collect and drop off the mail.

The postcard is taken from the photographic archive held by the Newry Post Office Historical Society.

The postcard was issued by the North of Ireland Philatelic Society in 1998. 

The postcard is in a fine, unused condition.
