This
Dreamcast is in good condition for its age and comes fully tested
& playing perfectly. As the console is almost 20 years old it may
have minor imperfections such as marks, a small chip on the front left, scratches or blemishes but comes fully tested & playing any games from any region.
It is sold as the console only without cables or controller.
The
region free bios allows you to play any games from any region without
the need for disc swapping or boot loaders. Simply pop any retail
region game into your Dreamcast and play.
Whats been modded?
The console has been overclocked for reducing slowdowns and increasing frame rates. By modding the Dreamcast this allows for a 10% gain in speed by changing the 33.333Mhz clock to 36.7Mhz.Your games will play at the same speeds, this does not make them run faster such as a 50/60 mhz mod on other consoles.
This Dreamcast is region free so will play games from all regions
The controller ports have had the orange power light removed and replaced with a new bright blue LED.
The
controller ports have had blue LEDs fitted & the old battery has
been removed and replaced with a battery holder and a new CR2032. If in
the future you need to change the battery simply pull out and replace,
no need to solder.
