This stunning 1940's Italian dining table/ Desk features four winged sphinxes and a marble top, and harp design in the center making it a unique and elegant addition to any home. With its antique charm and exquisite craftsmanship, this piece is sure to impress. This table is a very old piece that was purchased in New York over 15 yrs ago. The marble top comes off . Due to its age,the table has some chipping of paint and the marble, some of the veneering as seen in pics! The harp has a split in it that's where it connects. The markings on the table is where some imperfections is at that's the way it was purchased never bothered to remove it didn't affect the look at all. Each Sphinx has some chipping of paint off them mainly on the tails! I touched up a few spots but some I just left as is for the buyer to touch up to their liking! A small piece of wood is chipped off on the bottom under a Sphinx as seen in pics! This table is very sturdy just in need of a little TLC.
