Synopsis:
Omar is a police officer. After the death of his fiancé he suffers great pain. Sibel, Omar's fiancée's body was found on the top of a cliff, in a car next to a fairly old, rich business man. "This was an awesome series. I was hooked and watched it every day until the very last episode. Omer and Elif's chemistry was awesome. I laughed, cried, got mad at times, wanted to beat up a few people at times, etc... I must say that Omer is very sexy. :-) I can't wait to see more movies or anything with Engin and Tuba in them. Elif was very sweet and charming with a good heart and reminds me of myself so much. Also, Fatih was very sexy too. Whew! I loved the role that Saygin played in this movie. The all black wardrobe made Fatih very sexy and this role suited him very well. I wish that I had viewed it in English but the English subtitles made me pay attention to every episode without blinking. :-) Thumbs up to the cast and this was a very well written series that I enjoyed to the fullest."

"My mom was watching this and I was initially teasing her because she was always watching it. When she was more than halfway through the series, I decided to watch with her & got hooked! It became our nightly ritual to watch a few episodes & it was hard to turn off and go to bed! When we were done with the series, my mom encouraged me to watch from the beginning & I was hesitant at first but I wanted to see how the relationship developed between the beautiful main couple. I’m glad I did because I fell in love with the couple & the actors playing them (especially Engin).
I looked forward to watching everyday and was so sad it was over and missed all the characters. I learned a lot about Turkish culture & wanted to visit Turkey to eat the food they were eating and see the beautiful scenery. It was touching to me that a story from another culture could be so universal & relatable. I’m giving it 5 stars because of how much I liked it; I’m sure a professional tv critic would find fault - yes it is melodramatic, repetitive at times and there are plot holes but it was so entertaining. Elif and Omer spoiled me and now no onscreen couple can compare. (I couldn’t even get into the Bridgerton couple). The downside is now I’m a little obsessed & can’t find anything I like as much. Oh, and it’s not just a romantic series, it is a intriguing crime story with twists and turns with amazing performances from both the heroes & villains. Also, don’t get put off by the subtitles or the length of the series. The episodes are only about 40 minutes and they go very fast. You get used to the subtitles quickly."

"I love this show. The plot, with its twists and turns, is slow to develop but I think that's a good thing. However, what I really like is the color, the beautiful scenery and also the music. I especially like hearing Turkish songs sung and played. I think the whole production is very artfully done. The actors seem able to act with great feeling all the emotions that human society has to contend with. Also, the actress Elif is probably the most beautiful woman I have seen for a long time ( and I've seen a few ). Her sisters and Bahar are beautiful too but Elif is my favorite. One of the best produced shows I have ever watched."
