1st Press Matrix numbers...

Side 1 = SHVL 814 A-1

Side 2 = SHVL 814 B-3

Early Mother stampers...

Side 1 = 3 GTP

Side 2 = 1 GPA

The outer sleeve is the first variant, which is noted by the pinched spine and is in nice condition for age with no splits or tears and has a great spine! Only minimal age wear but does have dirt and a sticker removal mark.

The labels are are stunning and the first variant which shows "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" song-writers credit for 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' (Side 1 Part 5). Which was subsequently changed on later pressings for just "Waters". They are absolutely lovely and have amazing spindle holes . NEAR MINT.

The matrix numbers on the vinyl show that this is a UK first A1 B3 pressing. The mother stamper codes also suggest that the record was produced very early in the manufacturing line.

The original card inner sleeve, with a notch to the top edge and which is die-cut on three of the four corners is also in good condition.  It has some dirt, no splits or tears. Shows yellowing tape to the bottom.

The vinyl has a superior glossy sheen in appearance, and sits flat to the surface. Has a couple of incredibly light no feel wisps/lines.

OVERALL, A GREAT PIECE OF MUSICAL HISTORY TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!
