We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is indeed a great collection of the songs of the amazing John Denver, one of the most successful artists in the 1970's. John Denver was all over the place in the seventies, hosting a variety show and placing song after song into the Top Forty. Many of John's songs often take us back to those simpler times. Besides his chart topping favorites John had several songs make it to the Adult Contemporary Charts. Included here on this disc is 'Perhaps Love'' with Placido Domingo, 'Shanghai Breezes' and 'Some Days Are Diamonds' among many others! When you look at all the other songs listed below you will find that you've got an awesome collection to complete your John Denver library to sing! This disc also includes songs that are quite difficult to find, the twenty one listed below.
