This pipe has a fissure running down the bowl pretty much through the entirety of the pipe. Be sure to examine the pictures closely. It would probably still be functional but it would be better served to live out its days in a collection.

I will not replace it if separates.

You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos.

It is brand new, never been used or blessed.

This is a “elbow” style pipe. Traditionally used by a woman, or young single male.

The stone was quarried from the sacred quarries at the Pipestone National Monument located near by. It is authentic Pipestone quarried by hand.

The bowl itself measures 3-1/2 inches long and stands 2-3/4 inches tall. Each pipe is very unique. Please be sure to view the photos for the finer details.

The stem alone measures 12 inches long. I left this stem plain so the buyer may decorate to personalize how ever they see fit. It is rubbed with an oil to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. The stem is only to be inserted up to the marks on the flange, NOT all the way up to the shoulders of the stem. Aggressively inserting the stem, or inserting to to far will potentially break the pipe. Joining pipe and stem must be done so gently.

The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 15 inches long.

The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe Although not enrolled myself.

I’m happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions. I do have several listings at this time and will also take personal orders done through eBay.

Thanks for looking!
