Images taken with it exhibit excellent sharpness, contrast, colour rendition and control of distortion and flare. It features Pentax's SMC multi-layer coated optics, an aperture range of f/2.8 to f/22, a minimum close focusing distance of 0.3m, a 49mm filter thread and excellent build quality. The M28/2.8 is also a very good choice for reversing in order to achieve high magnifications above 1:1 lifesize. The optics are clean and bright without any scratches, cleaning marks or coating issues. It is without fungus or hazing and is very clean internally. It is focusing smoothly and accurately. The diaphragm is snappy and the blades are in excellent condition. The aperture rings clicks positively throughout the range of f/2.8 - f/22. It is in near mint cosmetic condition having had only very light and careful previous use. Please view the gallery pictures for full confirmation of cosmetic condition.
