The work was exhibited at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in Florence (2020-2021). All this is documented and documentable.

A faithful copy of the mask is mentioned in "Vita di Michelangelo," edited by Lucilla Bardeschi Ciulich and Pina Ragionieri, published in 2001, on page 33.
