Genuine Ford High Quality Escort RS Cosworth (1992-96) & Others - Windscreen Washer Pump Special Filter Grommet/Seal Brand New Old Stock Sealed in Ford factory sealed packaging - one shown in the pics is going into my own restoration project Contents; Rubber Washer System Special Filter Grommet / Seal x 1 Genuine Ford OEM quality - not a cheap inferior Chinese copy! This filter grommet filters the washer fluid before it enters the pump mechanism, to prevernt it from fouling/prematurely wearing out & provides a water tight seal between the pump assembly & washer reservoir / bottle. These grommets by nature get lot of use/exposure to the external elements, so eventually over time hardens & ceases to provide a water tight seal & you end up with fluid all over your nice clean garage floor, or curbside, with little left to actually use when needed. Always worth keeping a spare pump & grommet in your spares, for when either wear out in the future. Also a must have for to consider replacing in any serious restoration. I've fitted these parts as part of my ongoing project! This part will fit many other cars, but you'll need to check the part number and Ford to confirm which.! ---------------- I only post items once payment funds actually reach my bank a/c - which alone usually takes 2+ days thanks to ebay holding onto funds to earn interest on buyers/sellers funds - contrary to what they claim happens!
