The L5 Universal Remote harks back to the iPod touch (1st, 2nd, 3rd Gen), iPhone 3, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad period of technology when devices still had ports and interfaces to plug stuff into. Along with the free app on iTunes, plugging the L5 Universal Remote into the 30-pin dock connector on your Apple device turned it into a universal infrared remote control.

Once connected you could simply program your old remotes into your L5 Remote with the help of the app and you're ready to start controlling your TV, DVD player, DVR, cable box, etc. The drag and drop setup took only a few minutes. You could customize each remote using only the buttons you use most often. Up to 100,000 buttons and 1,000 different remotes could be programmed into your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch and no batteries, WiFi, or wall adapters were necessary for use.

Assuming you still have one of the above Apple devices and are able to obtain and download the L5 app, this hardware accessory will enable you to consolidate all of your domestic remotes into one.

The accessory pictured in the photo gallery is the device you are purchasing and is fully operational with only minor cosmetic imperfections or signs of wear.
