The 58234 is a race model manufactured by the master of Italian eyewear, Guiseppe Ratti,

original creator of the Persol (per il sole) brand.

Persol's hallmark. Patented Meflecto flexible temples, double pins on temples and front. Temples feature the gap that is typical for 1970s meflecto temples where the acetate shrinks while the metal structure maintains the original length. While this adds to the authenticity of the frame, it doesn't affect the flexibility or

sturdiness.
