The obvious fault with this set is the detached gain control knob - the shaft for the knob from the unit behind the panel is missing and will need repair. The knob is present.
Otherwise the front panel is very good with original paint and the other controls and tuner appear functional, nothing is seized. Tuner moves smoothly. It retains a smart appearance despite wear and ageing. The chassis is in very good order - complete and without obvious decay or corrosion, and it looks like it could be a good prospect for a skilled enthusiast to recommission should they wish to undertake a project.
I hope another collector will give this historic machine a good home. Returns will be difficult and expensive with an item of this size and weight so I would ask politely that you consider purchase carefully before buying, considering that the radio is likely to need some attention from an expert hand to return to proper working order.
