Rare original antique print from an 1870s illustrated journal. It depicts the Angle of Peace trumpeting the win of Ulysses S. Grant in the 1872 election. The trumpet yields peace through union, fraternity, impartial sufferace and universal education. It is pushing away the storm of Anarchy, Disloyalty and RUin. Men, women and children, white an black, push toward the light. In the background is the capitol Building with Grant & WIlson's names.

The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 15 inches (28 x 38 cm). The picture fills most of it, measuring about 9 x 13 inches, with a caption below it.

The page is in excellent condition for its age.
