It depicts the 1884 Democratic National Convention (DNC) in CHicago Illinois at the moment of the nomination of President Grover Cleveland (who ended up winning the election). The Democratic National Convention (DNC) is a series of presidential nominating conventions held every four years since 1832 by the United States Democratic Party. 

The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a caption below.

The page is in excellent condition for its age.
