Offered here is a first edition of C C Posts' Driven From Sea To Sea or Just A Campin'.  Although commonly listed as fiction, Post writes a commentary heavily footnoted from newspaper accounts on the Railroads' monopoly on lands in post gold rush California. Parsons, the main character is apparently a real person, "from a letter in the author's possession." 

This volume is in good condition.  The boards and spine show wear and stains as would be expected for a 140 year old book.  The binding is cracked but still attached.  A prior owner's gifting statement is on the first page.  The interior of the book is clean with no other extraneous marks, foxing or dog eared pages.
