As you can tell from my many auctions so far, I have been a pretty active collector of all things Anchor Brewing Co. since the 1980's. I got this card from Mr. Maytag in the 1990's when I met him at the Brewery and I put it immediately in a baseball card protective sleeve when I got home. I have stored it with my most valuable baseball cards all these years. Unlike my other auctions (where I start at a low price), I'm going to put a big price on this one for starters. I don't think you can easily find another one.
Notice the high quality metallic ink that Fritz and Anchor used for the business cards. Also note no email address--just a business phone and a fax #. Old School!

ith the news that the Brewery is going out of business this week, it's really sad that this 127 year old brewery is closing its doors for good. I've had this inside my home, in a binder, for four decades.
