Description
This is a fabulous bolt of very heavy vintage French linen metis fabric that has never been used and I believe dates from the 1940's, it's 220 cms wide and 3.16 meters long.
The fabric is wonderfully weighty and has a loverly texture and still has plenty of straw flecks within.
The fabric is soft ecru in colour and with repeated washing will eventually turn brilliant white.
The fabric has plenty of body and weight to it, so ideal for upholstery, curtains, cushions, crafts etc
The fabric has never been laundered and once laundered will soften and soften further with repeated washings. Please note that there are some light marks which will come out when laundered or it can be used just as it is as there is plenty of fabric to work with and the marks are mainly to the edges, on the whole its in fabulous condition.
