Up for sale is a rare, 70mm collector film cell from The Empire Strikes Back Imperial Attack edition.

As a collector, I have purchased and sold hundreds of these and, just like other collectibles, some are more rare and in demand than others.

For these 70mm film cell collectibles, the actual film cell is what mostly determines the worth. The film cells are taken from various parts of the movie depending on the edition - in this case, scenes of the Imperial Attack on Hoth.

The film cells that depict spaceships or battles from the movie are in high demand right now.

Some film cells are taken from longer scenes in the movie which means there are more of them in the edition. The shorter the scene, the more rare the cell is. This particular one that I am selling is when the rebel snow speeder has it's cable deployed and attached to the ATAT's legs and is circling it. This will cause it to fall and be destroyed by the rebels! This scene was very short and fast and the cell that I am offering is very clean and in focus. You can actually see the cable being wrapped around the ATAT's legs! It is one of the best screen cells from the attack on Hoth that I have seen.

Please review the pictures as you will be receiving this very one.

This Imperial Attack edition (3B) Film Cell Card is one of the 24 different Empire Strikes Back film cell cards designed and distributed by Willitts Designs (USA - Petaluma, California).

Exclusively licensed from Lucasfilm LTD.

NOTE: Film cell cards without a sequence number may have been extras or simply didn't get assigned a number. We are not sure if this makes the film cell card more valuable or not.

Limited Edition - estimated 9999 of each produced (some may have 10xxx #s)

Each original 70mm film cell has been carefully selected and hand-cut from a master-print taken from the original internegative. This film cell is an original, one-of-a-kind, and will never be sold to the public again.

Each 70mm film cell has been sealed with Scotchgard film protector. This protection gives a scratch resistant, static resistant, optically clear coating that actually improves the quality while extending the life of the film.

Each film cell card has a sequence number as well as an Edition designator. There were 11 "A" Editions, 9 "B" Editions and 4 Special (S1-S4) Editions. "B" Editions have the same card front as the "A" Editions, but different card backs.

No two film cells are the same.

Please view my display cases that I build and sell to protect and display these film cell frames.
