Giuseppe Armani Baby Mine 1579F Sculpture
Made in Italy

I am offering up this  Giuseppe Armani Sculpture "Baby Mine" item #1579F.  It features a woman lovingly holding her baby and standing by a lovely vase of roses.  The details of this sculpture are amazing and I'm not sure the pictures are showing it off as well as it should.  This item comes with the original box and original paperwork.  It measures approximately 14" tall.  The base is 4.5" wide x 4.5" long.  This item is in excellent-like new condition. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.

History of this item:
This item, along with several others that I will be listing, were purchased from the sale of the estate/home place of Dorothy Cate and Thomas Frist, Sr.  Mr. Fritz was a well known Cardiologist and businessman in Nashville, TN.  He also co-founded Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), the largest private operator of health facilities in the world.  These are only a couple of his accomplishments from a long list.  He and his wife had 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters.  His three sons were all physicians and one of those sons is the former Senator William "Bill"  Frist of Tennessee.  Thomas Frist, Sr died in 1988 and his wife Dorothy died in 1998 and a foundation was set up in their names and is still active today.  To say that they were special people is quite an understatement.

Their beautiful home place contents were recently sold in Nashville and I was lucky enough to be able to get a fews pieces from that sale.  This is one of many that I will be listing.  Everything they had was the very top of the line so you won't be disappointed with these pieces.

Please feel free to ask any questions but please ask before you purchase and not after.

About the Artist:
Giuseppe Armani, known for his realism and attention to detail in his artwork, he had "The Gift".  He always infused his sculptures with breathtaking realism....with a spark of life This continues to amaze his many admirers the world oveeven today.

Giuseppe Armani passed away in 2006 and all his factories are now closed so these pieces are becoming quite rare and this one is another really nice and very elegant piece. As people are buying these pieces up, it is becoming more and more difficult to find these works of art in good condition.
