Frances Arnold Hook (1913- July 23, 1983) was an American artist best known for her pastels of children used as commercial illustrations for advertisements. Her series of promotional prints called American Beauties first appeared in Northern Tissue advertisements in the 1950s and were used on toilet tissue packaging.
