These great playing cards were made in St Paul, Minnesota. They were produced by the Stardust Packaging Corporation and date from the mid-twentieth century. The artwork is beautiful. The Harlequin jokers straddle white and yellow crescent moons. The face cards are ornate. The box and the backs of the cards feature the words Pan Am on an African savanna scene with an elephant by a water pool. The box shows significant wear and some damage. A closing flap is missing and there are stains on the outer box. The stains do not appear to penetrate and are not present on the playing cards themselves. The cards appear to be lightly used, but in otherwise excellent condition with no scratches tears or bends present. Overall this is a very nice set of souvenir playing cards.
