Exceedingly rare Art Deco mid century modern chrome drinkware by Chase, including a pitcher and (4) goblets of the with thumbprint motif, from the "Bacchus" pattern attributed to designer Ruth Gerth in 1934. Some sources cite Walter Von Nessen or Russell Wright as the designer.  All worked with Chase. I have collected art deco for about 20 years and have only seen one other set in copper and a few single chrome goblets.  Condition:  Surface wear consistent with age and use; some light scratches and pitting, a few spots of oxidation.  There are some changes in the shape pitcher spout and a couple of the goblet rims are not perfectly round.   Please see all pics as they are showing condition.  This is an extremely rare set and I am only parting with it because I am scaling back my collection.  I do not need to sell it but would like to see it preserved.  Goblets bear the Chase centaur mark.  Thanks for looking.
