Pre-WW1 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada Officer's Doublet circa 1910 DOUBLET TUNIC ONLY - READ DESC

Beautiful Officer's Doublet uniform to the 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada, circa 1910. The doublet is not named but definitely pre-WW1. The doublet features 79th regimental buttons, less the button buckle - which is flat to accommodate the belt buckle. The shoulder boards have no rank pips on them. Beautiful trim lace to the collars, collars are missing but they do have holes that fit the collar badge of the 79th (see pictures of an OR badge fitting - badge not included) so this piece was definitely used. The uniform is overall in great condition, with very few marks or holes. The liner is in overall great condition. The jacket is definitely larger than most from this era, making this ideal for display. 

Uniforms to the 79th are uncommon, and I haven't seen another Officer version. This is truly a beautiful tunic and just in need of collar badges (and perhaps some other items I have for sale!) Don't miss this one!
