Item up for bid is a super cool vintage plastic body table model tube radio made by Westinghouse with a model number of H-338T5U. This piece was plugged in and the tubes lit up and we were able to tune in several stations. There was a fair amount of static and hum between reception so while this piece does power up it would benefit from some maintenance to operate as intended. As with any piece of vintage electronics we HIGHLY encourage the new owner to have this piece looked at by a professional prior to use. Plastic body shows significant crack in the plastic on the top panel located at roughly the middle of the back edge and running about halfway towards the front edge. Interior of the cabinet shows where an old repair was attempted at the crack area. Plastic body shows areas of color fade and discoloration with body as a whole showing surface wear, scratches, soiling and patina throughout. Left side of the body shows two spots with (what we believe to be) dried epoxy.

Knobs are present and show some white residue of an unknown origin that should clean off easily. Dial and plastic trim shows finish wear and loss. Entire piece shows soiling in the nooks and crannies and will need a detail cleaning. Grille cloth shows spots of wear and is loose along the lower left edge. Grille clothe has spots of paint residue with body showing paint residue. Underside of the base shows remnants of an old label. Cord shows some spots of surface wear and appears to be in usable condition. Back panel is loose with no clips or hardware we can see to hold it into place. Panel is held on by one wire affixed to the interior with the panel showing wear and tear. Radio body measures 7-3/4" top to bottom by 12-1/4" wide by 5-7/8" in depth.
