The Nokton 60mm F0.95 is a new medium-telephoto lens designed exclusively for Micro Four Thirds. A diagonal angle of view of 21.5° is equivalent to 120mm on a 35mm full-frame camera. Even among interchangeable lenses for 35mm full-frame cameras, there are almost no examples of lenses with equivalent specifications, so it is possible to create expressions that take advantage of bokeh that is a bit different from conventional lenses. The Nokton 60mm F0.95 can be used for portraits, nature photography, studio photography, etc., while maintaining an appropriate working distance and distortion-free proportions. This angle of view is ideal for close-up shots and close-ups of people when shooting movies. Focusing is exclusively for manual focusing, and a metal helicoid is used to withstand severe focusing even when the aperture is wide open. Another feature is the lubricated, silky feel that can only be achieved with a dedicated manual focus design. The shortest shooting distance is 34cm and the shooting magnification is 1:4 (35mm equivalent 1:2). It also supports shooting like a large aperture macro lens. A dedicated lens hood with excellent light blocking properties is also included. In addition, it is equipped with an aperture switching mechanism that allows the aperture ring to be opened and closed steplessly without generating a click sound. As a result, there is no need to worry about picking up the sound of the aperture ring being operated while recording video, and fine adjustment of the aperture ring enables severe depth control.
