16 Gauge Dark Steel Round Shield

Full contact re-enactment shield

This robust round shield is hand forged from 16 gauge steel with a studded blackened finish. The centre of the shield is raised to a point to allow striking blows to be deflected away.

This solidly constructed shield has a centre grip of thick steel that has been stoutly riveted onto the shield. Two halves of hardwood complete the grip. A solidly constructed defence, this shield will stand up to considerable use.
