This bright textured oil on board shows a RNLI Manchester Unity of Oddfellows (B-702) which is an Atlantic rigid-inflatable inshore lifeboat. This one was stationed at Sheringham on the North Norfolk coas and was the first of this type to be used by the RNLI in the U.K. It was funded by the Independent Order of Oddfellows, Manchester Unity, which was a fraternity started in London in the 1700s. This picture has the boat and its crew heading out into rough seas with high swells. With Lovely deep colours of greens and blues and the bright orange of the dingy and life jackets.
