Major components are standard off the shelf stuff and are user replaceable (e.g. SODIMM RAM and a 2280 M.2 NVMe drive).
I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro.
- All telemetry disabled during install except allowing apps to ask for location access since that can actually be useful
- Latest BIOS / UEFI applied
- Windows updates & Windows Store updates applied
- Only 2 things installed. HP Image Assistant for deploying their BIOS / UEFI and driver updates, and UBlock Origin extension for Edge. The other utilities to provide information in the screenshot were just extracted from zip files and then nuked.
- Username / password will be admin / admin (you should change this!)
