Condition: there is a spot on the lid that is either a circular crack or skinned up and was carefully glued back down. There is another .25" spat on one side missing leather. It's very small. There is fading on the sides of the box but I was able to use a matching leather polish to even the color out pretty nicely. The interior is perfect but the velvet could use a lint removal. I suspect this box to be from the 1940s-50s and is in good vintage condition. You can see the dovetail joinery of the box through the leather. This is a finely constructed box!
