Starting from the 1950s, Deutsche Grammophon records in Japan were printed by Nippon Columbia using the original German matrices. Until the first months of 1971 the record label carried the Nippon brand, later the Polydor brand. These records are from the Nippon archives and were intended as "not for sale" samples for reviewers and more. The archive cover makes them much rarer than the already rare "not for sale" samples.
