A mid 19th century French mantle clock by Paris maker Samuel Marti et Cei Bronze medal exhibition winner 1860 . A most beautiful old clock by this famous of quality French makers with case of polished black slate & green flecked marble detailing. A visible escapement to the face and glass port door rear with movement running at 8 days using bell strikes to count the hours and once on the half hour . Recently serviced cleaned & regulated the clock presents in excellent working condition and is sold as ready to use with key , making a fine addition to a period room shelf or mantle piece .
