Up for sale is this 2000s vintage Chase-Durer Pilot Commander Alarm chronograph watch. It’s a great looking tool watch that’s in original used condition. Showing light wear and tear on the upper case, bezel and caseback.

Chase-Durer is a US based manufacturer whose owners have a passion for rugged military style time pieces. This Pilot Commander is a perfect example of their philosophy. I love the slide rule bezel and the 12 hour recorder for those longer plane flights. It measures just shy of 44 mm wide but isn’t too bulky and is very comfortable on the wrist.

The Japanese made Miyota caliber 0S80 movement is running strong and keeps great time. A new battery has just been installed. The black dial and chrome plated hands are in excellent condition with all lume in place. Original sapphire crystal is clean and scratch free. Not recommended for any water sport activities since it hasn’t been pressure tested.

It’s fitted with its original 20 mm stainless steel Speedmaster style bracelet. Will fit a 7 3/4” wrist with extra link included. Would look great on a leather or NATO strap as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Remember, keep time the vintage way!!
