Consider this rare find. A signed Steuben engraved crystal  Manhattan Skyline with granite base would be a treasured gift for your NYC family, friends or your own city home. This made in USA Steuben design is formed from a block of the purest crystal engraved on one side to resemble the city skyline at night. This rests on it’s heavy black granite micro suede topped base. This beautiful sculpture was only available briefly from Steuben.  It measures approx. 10" wide by 6" tall. There are no chips, cracks, nicks only displayed on micro suede topped base. This is a heavy authentic piece that will come wrapped in its fine vintage Steuben flannel bag and fine vintage Steuben box with Steuben care folder and special base.

Steuben was noted for their rigorous attention to detail and for the high quality of their glass. They stated in their literature that they did not market "seconds". In fact, they noted that such pieces were destroyed in house. Steuben Glass was founded by Frederick Carder in 1903 and was located in the Fingerlakes Region of New York State. By following strict standards for design and manufacture they achieved recognition as the world's premier glassworks. Steuben Glass was frequently the gift of state by US Presidents to foreign dignitaries. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand. Because of these factors, a well maintained/handmade Steuben collectible will increase in value over time.

A fair price for a rare Steuben masterwork design. Since the glassworks closed in 2011 it is nearly impossible to find gift worthy engraved pieces like this.
