Blade is high carbon stainless steel and is flat ground to a very fine edge. Cuts and slices easily and is also easy to sharpen.
Handle is made of natural high quality rosewood. Very hard and dense with nice grain.
The handle is made from all natural wood so the grain patterns will be different with each knife.
Stiff blade is made from 1/8" (3mm) thick steel.
