I bought this new about 18 months ago and have really enjoyed using it. It has been well looked after. It has 99 heat settings, a timer and can be worked from an app.  I never saw a reason to do this and in any case, it's a Chinese App!  It's made in China but quality build like Macbooks or iPhones.

The bad news is that it suddenly stopped heating properly.  It needs taking in for repair but I couldn't find anywhere near me and I needed the hob so bought another one.
