Count Five were a short lived gem of the Californian psych scene in the late 60s who brushed with fame when their single 'Psychotic Reaction' hit the top five in the US charts in 1966. They may have disbanded by 1969, but their brief moment in the spotlight left a lasting impression which was cemented by their inclusion on the iconic Nuggets compilation series.
